Our innkeeper, Susan, was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She set out an early breakfast (before the usual time) for us one morning so we could eat before meeting our tour bus. She helped us weigh our luggage and print documents for the flight home. The house is lovely and the terraced garden even better. We enjoyed walking along the Avon and Kennet canal in the morning and evening going to and from the Bath city center.

The location was glorious and nice - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. What's more, it was very close to beautiful gardens, Tasburgh House and the center of town thru the fields and along the canal to a park/garden near the center of town.

Sue, the proprietor, was very helpful and takes a great interest in her guest house. The china, fresh flowers and comfortable decor made our visit very special. I would definitely recommend it to a friend and would stay there again.

The staff were wonderful and responded to every request I made quickly. Had one of the best showers I have encountered in the UK and Ireland, steady temperature and great water pressure.

My wife and I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a beautiful location with stunning views over the city. The room we stayed in was lovely, with a comfortable bed and small touches that made our stay enjoyable. The continental breakfast provided was more than sufficient and we also had the option to purchase cooked meals at reasonable prices. The hotel had well-furnished common areas and a delightful garden to explore. The staff were warm and friendly, creating a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay.

I booked our stay at Tasburgh House for a long weekend. Our room was compact (Double) and nicely furnished. There were nice personal touches in the room including chocolate brownies and a personalised letter to us on arrival. The bathroom had been recently refurbished and again was nicely finished off. Toiletries however were not replaced once used but we had brought our own anyway. The proprietor and her colleague were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is located up a hill on the Warminster Road which overlooks the city with some spectacular views and a nice walk into the centre - took us about 25 minutes. Taxi takes 5 minutes and costs around £5.30 each way. An enjoyable stay.
The rate includes continental breakfast - my thoughts are for the price paid, a cooked breakfast should be included - doesn't have to be buffet or anything special. The continental breakfast was very nice though. The service at breakfast was poor with orders being forgotten, even for tea and toast. The parrot in reception (which is close to the lower ground room floors) is very noisy at night and will wake you in the morning.

Very pleasant room and beautiful gardens. Lovely view from window and nice conservatory and lounge. Sue, the hostess, really tried hard to meet our needs.
Public rooms were overheated. Wifi did not work initially in our room but Sue got it fixed and it worked towards the end of our stay. Hotel is a little far out of Bath and therefore distant from restaurants etc if you do not have a car. Also suggest that there is a traffic mirror placed opposite drive to facilitate safe access to the road.

The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants, and the town center, with beautiful views of the valley. The room was high quality and we had a perfectly pleasant experience during our stay. The continental breakfast looked tasty, even though we didn't have time to try it.
